It is a method developed to help the manufacturing companies exploit their resources like raw material, machinery, money, time and manpower synchronicly. MRP II is derived from MRP (Material Requirement Planning) concept, but, it is more detailed than MRP. Ensures integration of all business processes in the enterprise and gathers sales, purchase, production planning, stock management, cost, quality management and all similar processes on common denominator. MRP II can be defined as a production management system ensuring efficient planning of all resources of the enterprise by bringing together the information required for overall production planning. The purpose of the system is to ensure the enterprise seeing the future and generating scenarios for the future. In addition, it is possible to anticipate the problems which may occur and to prevent them.
